Fairfield Family Law was established by Lesley Fairfield in February 2021. We are a niche firm in West Lothian practising in family law and guardianships. By concentrating solely on one area of law we pride ourselves in having the necessary expertise and knowledge to provide sound legal and practical advice.
Our considerable experience in advising and representing a wide variety of clients in all areas of family law, has allowed us to fully appreciate that families come in all shapes and sizes with varying dynamics. We will always deal with your case in a professional and empathetic manner and recognise that no two family situations are the same. We represent husbands or wives, cohabitees, those in civil partnerships, same sex marriages or relationships, mums, dads, grandparents, kinship carers, children and wider family members.
Our fee rates for private clients are competitive and we can discuss your eligibility for Legal Aid. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Lesley Fairfield LLB, DipLP, NP
Lesley obtained her Law Degree from Edinburgh Napier University and her Diploma in Legal Practice from Edinburgh University. She completed her traineeship at Sneddon Morrison and qualified as a solicitor in 2012. She stayed with Sneddon Morrison for 10 years latterly becoming a partner in that firm.
Lesley has however worked within the legal profession in varying roles throughout her working career spanning 3 decades and always in the field of family law. Lesley has considerable experience in representing clients in all aspects of family law and provides straight forward legal advice and will assist in finding practical solutions to your case.
Loren Colliar, LLB, DipLP
Loren is a Trainee Solicitor within the firm. Loren gained her LLB from the University of Dundee, where she also completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
Loren has a keen interest in family law and prior to commencing her Traineeship, she worked within the firm as a Paralegal. This allowed her to gain experience communicating with clients and understanding procedures in relation to Legal Aid and Court.
Jacqui Shearer
Jacqui Shearer is Lesley Fairfield's secretary. Jacqui has been a legal secretary for over 5 years. She will be your first point of contact for any appointments, any updates required on your case and any general help you may need.
