Permanence

An application to Court for a Permanence Order is made by the Local Authority to find that a child should reside permanently outwith the care of their parents.  Its effect removes Parental Rights and Responsibilities from parents.

Permanence applications can be opposed in their entirety or for the purpose of seeking post permanence contact.   If you are served with Court papers there are strict time limits set down by the Court and you should not delay in seeking legal advice.

If you require advice in relation to either of the above please be in touch with us
